Women Go Travel (WGT) Hosted Tours - Terms of Service
Travel Documents Required: A valid Passport – which must be valid for a minimum of 6 months after the tour end date / your return to your country of residence.
Visas: It is each participant’s own responsibility to know and meet all requirements (including visa, immunisation, and insurance) for entry to the destination country/countries. Participants accept full responsibility for obtaining all such documents, visas and permits prior to the start of the trip, and are solely responsible for the full amount of costs incurred, including as a result of missing or defective documentation.
Health Requirements: It is up to the individual traveller to assess which vaccinations and medical precautions they need to take. It is recommended that you check with your doctor, who knows your medical history, and your local Travel Medicine Clinic for advice. Any recommendations given by WGT should not be construed as medical advice.
Travel Insurance: Adequate travel insurance is mandatory for WGT tours. Your travel insurance must provide adequate coverage against personal accident, death, medical expenses, emergency repatriation, and loss of any funds paid or for expenses for ground and air travel. Proof of coverage (travel insurance policy number and the insurance company's 24-hour emergency contact number) needs to be submitted within 21 days of your deposit payment.
If you have travel insurance connected to your credit card or bank account please ensure you submit details of the participating insurer, the insurance policy number and emergency contact number rather than the bank's name and credit card details.
The tour host and WGT assumes no liability for the safety of any participant while in transit or during the tour. WGT is not responsible or liable for loss, damage or theft of luggage or personal injury, accidents, or illness while on tour nor for any type of trip interruption.
By booking a WGT tour, you agree to take part at your own risk.
Cancel For Any Reason Coverage: Travellers should be aware that Cancel for Any Reason travel insurance policies are available for purchase to provide protection against last minute cancellations, and cover expenses outside the trip fare such as airfare, ground transportation, or other expenses. Purchase of such a policy is at the participant’s discretion.
Air Ticket Purchasing: Please wait to purchase airfare until the trip minimum is met and confirmed to you, OR Purchase airfare at the time of booking if the airline offers free cancellation and full refunds.
Tour Eligibility: Any adult female is welcome to join a tour and there aren’t any upper age restrictions. However, a reasonable level of fitness is required for most tours with some tours requiring a higher level of fitness. WGT tours are not suitable for anyone with limited mobility or who requires assistance.
WGT adventures can be physically demanding and may include walking tours covering extended distances, uneven surfaces, steep inclines, and multiple flights of stairs. All participants must have reviewed the entire itinerary and confirm that they are physically capable of fully participating in the tour without requiring assistance from the tour host or fellow participants. During the tour, if the tour host or guide determines that a participant is unable to safely engage in certain activities, they reserve the right to request the participant to abstain from these activities without any reimbursement or compensation.
Baggage handling: All participants must be able to independently handle their personal baggage. There may be times that you must transport all your luggage, unassisted, to your hotel down narrow cobbled streets, into a vehicle or onto a train.
Personal Health: Any significant health (physical or mental) issues must be made known to WGT in advance and in writing. Such disclosures are kept strictly confidential. WGT retains the right to request written doctor's clearance if deemed necessary and holds the right to refuse any individual as a tour participant if their well-being cannot be ensured or if their presence poses a risk to the safety or enjoyment of other passengers on the tour.
WGT reserves the right to remove any person from the tour if their behaviour is deemed incompatible with the interests of other participants. In such instances, WGT are not responsible for any direct or indirect costs, losses, or expenses incurred by the participant.
Room share: Any participant that has not requested a single room (and paid the required single supplement) must disclose any issues which might affect their roommate such as snoring, night terrors or irregular sleeping patterns. If a participant failed to disclose an issue that has a negative impact on their roommate, the tour host and WGT have the right to ask them to take a single room at their own expense.
Tour Prices: The prices are based on rates in effect at the time of publication. These prices are established in accordance with airfares, hotel rates, exchange rates and various other factors. In the event of an increase, WGT reserves the right to increase the cost of the tour, unless full payment has been received.
Itinerary & Hotels: On the occasion where a hotel has overbooked its capacity, it may be necessary to change the hotel to one of similar quality or upgrade. WGT has no control over this portion and cannot be held responsible for changes.
Flexibility: All participants must appreciate and acknowledge that the nature of this type of travel requires considerable flexibility and they should allow for alternatives. The itinerary provided for each trip is representative of the types of activities contemplated, but it is understood that the route, schedules, itineraries, amenities and mode of transport may be subject to alteration without prior notice due to local circumstances or events.

Cancellation Penalties: Deposit is non-refundable. Once final payment has been made it is 100% non-refundable.
Tour Cancellation: On rare occasions, WGT must cancel a tour, either because there are not enough travellers to operate the tour, or for other events outside the control of WGT. We will make every effort to cancel tours due to lack of travellers prior to final invoicing however, we reserve the right to cancel any tour at any time up to the day of departure, due to no fault of WGT. WGT is not responsible for any penalties imposed by the airlines or any other out of pocket expenses.
WGT tours are based on a minimum number of passengers. In the event a tour is cancelled due to low registrations, prior to final payment your deposit will be refunded less any banking fees.
Tour Host: Should the tour host be unable to host a tour due to illness or personal circumstances beyond their control, WGT reserves the right to substitute a tour host or run the tour without a host if there is a tour guide in destination.
Inclusivity: WGT extends a warm welcome to all individuals, including transgender women, to participate in our women-only trips. For the comfort and privacy of every attendee, transgender women traveling solo on these trips are kindly asked to reserve a single room at the designated cost. This arrangement guarantees each traveller their personal space during the trip and upholds the inclusivity of our women-only group tours. Your cooperation and adherence to this policy are greatly appreciated.
Additional terms and conditions: may exist according to the local tour partner. Should that be the case, the terms and conditions for that partner will also be in effect. Any additional documents will be communicated and by completing your booking with WGT you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms in addition to the WGT terms of service.
