After dedicating 25 years to training and working as an Emergency Room physician, I made the decision to change track and pursue my lifelong interest in travel.
Born and raised in the UK, I have had the opportunity to live and work on three different continents, experiencing the richness of diverse cultures firsthand. Currently residing in Canada, I have explored over 60 countries across six continents, often revisiting favourite destinations. Travel has been an important part of my life since childhood, and I am proud to say that I have instilled the love of exploration in my three adult children, all of whom enthusiastically share my adventurous spirit. Whether we are trekking through towering mountains, strolling along pristine beaches, or marvelling at a starlit sky, these moments of togetherness and exploration are what make life truly extraordinary. Whilst my husband supports my own wanderlust, I wholeheartedly support his passion for adventure motorcycling. Encouraging each other's interests and pursuits is a cornerstone in our relationship. I am also a passionate advocate of slow fashion. As an upcycler, textile lover, and skilled seamstress, I actively embrace the principles of conscious consumption and sustainability. My dedication to slow fashion allows me to prioritise quality over quantity, support local artisans, and play my part in helping to reduce the environmental impact of the fashion industry. My travel experiences have shaped me into the person I am today, and with each new adventure, I continue to grow, learn, and embrace the wonders of the world. |
